More than 100 racing homing pigeons worth thousands of dollars were stolen from a Greenville County home over the weekend. Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said about 116 of the birds were stolen from a home off Roper Mountain Road. The owner of the birds said they were taken Friday night or Saturday morning while he slept. He said the birds that were stolen are his breeding pigeons which have champion bloodlines.
